General Information and Applicability
Odd Universe e.U., registered in Austria, with its office at Schottenfeldgasse 66/33, 1070 Wien, specializes in the design and sale of furniture and interior products. For inquiries, we can be reached at hello@odduniverse.xyz.
Our products (the “Products”) are available for purchase both through our website and directly from our offices. These terms and conditions govern all marketing and sales activities related to the Products.
Should any provision of these Terms conflict with the terms outlined in a Customer’s Order or any other document issued by the Customer, these Terms shall take precedence, regardless of whether Odd Universe e.U. has acknowledged such documents. Any modifications, waivers, or amendments to these Terms will only be valid if made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Odd Universe e.U.
Placing an Order - Web Shop
Odd Universe e.U. recommends that Customers place their Orders through our Web Shop. This ensures access to the latest product offerings, pricing, stock availability, lead times, detailed product information, 3D files, and the ability to submit claims. Customers can also pay by card for immediate order processing.
Upon placing an order through the Web Shop, the Customer will receive an initial order confirmation right away. A final order confirmation will be sent by our sales department within 2 working days of the order being placed.
Please note that placing orders through the Web Shop may not be available in all countries.
An order is not considered binding on Odd Universe e.U. until full payment for the Products has been received, unless otherwise explicitly agreed with the Customer.
Changing an Order Placed via the Web Shop
Once an order is received through the Web Shop, it is final. We will not be able to add or remove products from the order after it has been placed.
Placing an Order - Email
Customers can also place an order by emailing hello@odduniverse.xyz.
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the Order is correct and includes all necessary information for processing, such as quantity, description, and SKU. The Customer must use the Product names and SKUs as listed on the Odd Universe e.U. Web Shop and price list.
Upon receiving the Order, Odd Universe e.U. will send an Order Confirmation once the order has been entered into our internal sales system. We aim to send the confirmation within two to four working days from the receipt of the Order. The Customer should carefully review the Order Confirmation upon receipt and notify us immediately if any discrepancies are found. If we are not informed of any discrepancies within 48 hours, the Customer confirms that the Order Confirmation is accurate.
Changing an Order Placed via Email
Changes to an Order for Standard Products (products available in the price list or Web Shop) placed via email are possible, provided the changes are made at least 21 days before the required delivery date.
Custom and Non-Standard Product Orders
Changes and cancellations are not possible for Orders involving non-standard products or customized materials, such as fabrics or leathers.
Delivery
All Products are shipped with a reputable carrier chosen by Odd Universe e.U. to the address provided by the Customer (or to a pick-up point associated with the stated address, used by the carrier). It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the provided address, as Odd Universe e.U. has no obligation to verify the address. The Customer will bear the cost of shipping, including any taxes and fees, unless otherwise agreed upon. Any costs incurred by Odd Universe e.U. due to incorrect address information or failure to accept delivery will be charged to the Customer. Products returned to Odd Universe e.U. due to failure to accept delivery will not be reshipped, and Odd Universe e.U. will not be obligated to refund the purchase price or any other costs. However, if the Customer requests re-delivery within 14 days from the failure to accept delivery and covers the re-shipping costs, this may be arranged.
Delivery is Ex Works (i) Vienna, Austria, or (ii) as applicable, and does not include installation unless otherwise agreed upon with the Customer.
The transfer of ownership of purchased Products occurs when (i) the Product is delivered, and (ii) full payment of the purchase price has been received. The Customer may not dispose of the Product before ownership has been transferred. Odd Universe e.U. reserves the right to reclaim Products that have been delivered but not paid for.
Delivery Time
Lead time for Standard Products varies depending on the product. Delivery time for Non-Standard or Custom Products will be agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.
If Odd Universe e.U. learns that delivery cannot be made within the agreed timeframe, the Customer will be notified of the delay and a new expected shipment week. If the delay exceeds 3 months and is not due to force majeure, the Customer may cancel the Order. The delivery date is an estimate, and Odd Universe e.U. is not liable for any damages or losses the Customer may incur due to delays or non-delivery.
If the Customer cancels the Order, Odd Universe e.U. will refund all payments for the Product as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from the date of cancellation.
Change of Delivery Address
The Customer may change the delivery address no less than 21 days before the required delivery date. Changing the delivery address may alter the delivery cost and/or tax rate.
Damaged on Arrival or Mis-Shipment
If the Customer receives a delivery that does not meet expectations, reservations must be made on the waybill/POD/CMR or electronic PDA (delivery note). The Customer is responsible for checking the packaging upon receipt and ensuring the number of packages matches the delivery note. If goods or packaging are damaged, the recipient must accept the order with a reservation and note this on the delivery note. Any damage or loss incurred during transport must be reported to Odd Universe e.U. within 48 hours of receipt. If no reservations are made on the waybill/POD/CMR or electronic PDA, and the Customer does not submit a claim within 48 hours, the Customer is considered to have accepted the delivery without fault.
The Customer has 48 hours to notify Odd Universe e.U. of a Mis-Shipment (where the delivered Products differ from the ordered Products). Claims must be submitted within this time frame; beyond that, Odd Universe e.U. cannot accept the claim. To notify Odd Universe e.U., the Customer must submit a claim. We will conduct an inventory check, and if a discrepancy is found, we will notify the Customer. A realistic timeframe of no less than 7 days will then be communicated for the replacement Product’s delivery.
Please note that replacement Products will only be delivered to the same address as the original Order. Odd Universe e.U. is not liable for any additional delivery, assembly costs, or third-party expenses related to the replacement.
Unavailability of Components
Odd Universe e.U. reserves the right to cancel Orders if the Product, or any part of the Product, is no longer available from our suppliers and cannot be sourced through reasonable efforts or at reasonable prices from other suppliers.
In the event of cancellation, Odd Universe e.U. will refund all payments for the Product to the Customer as soon as practically possible, and in no case later than 30 days from the date of cancellation.
Prices
The prices of the Products are listed on the Web Shop and Price List, or otherwise agreed upon separately with the Customer. In cases where discrepancies exist between the Web Shop and the Price List, the prices listed on the Web Shop will take precedence.
Prices in the Web Shop are subject to change and may be updated without prior notice.
Any applicable shipping costs will be added to the stated prices of the Products and will be clearly shown separately in the Ordering form on the Web Shop before completing the Order, or otherwise agreed upon separately with the Customer.
Applicable VAT or Sales Tax (if any) may be added during the Ordering process in the Web Shop before finalizing the Order. The Customer is responsible for paying any applicable VAT in addition to VAT charged by Odd Universe e.U. The Customer is also responsible for paying any other applicable taxes, fees, and customs charges for the Products and their delivery unless otherwise agreed upon with the Customer.
Payment
Payment must be made in the agreed currency and must be received by Odd Universe e.U. in full, without set-off or other deductions, no later than the due date specified in the Order Confirmation or the corresponding invoice. Payment must be made in accordance with the payment terms and conditions outlined in the Order Confirmation or the corresponding invoice. All bank charges are the responsibility of the Customer.
The Customer agrees to pay a 2% interest charge per day on balances that remain unpaid after the due date. If Odd Universe e.U. initiates any legal action or proceedings against the Customer related to this Agreement, including payment for the Goods, Odd Universe e.U. will be entitled to recover, in addition to all other damages, the costs incurred in conducting the suit, including reasonable attorney’s fees, expenses, and court costs.
The Products
Odd Universe e.U. does not guarantee that the true colors, shapes, and other features of the Products are accurately represented in the Web Shop or in any presentation/advertising materials, due to variations in the Customer’s computer or monitor settings, or due to potential deficiencies in how the Products are depicted or described.
Odd Universe e.U. warrants that the Products are free from defects for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery.
This 5-year Product warranty does not apply in the following cases (the list is non-exhaustive):
- If the Product has been improperly stored, assembled, or maintained.
- If the Product has been abused, misused, or cleaned using incorrect methods.
- If the Product has been altered or repaired by anyone other than Odd Universe e.U.
- If a Product deviates from a color sample, wood sample, or other types of samples, as these are only intended as guiding examples.
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear, cuts, scratches, or impacts from accidents.
- Consequential or incidental damage.
- If replacement of gliders is necessary or if damage occurs due to failure to replace gliders.
- If the Product has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment.
Customers should refer to Odd Universe e.U.’s Care Guides for specific care instructions for each Product variant.
Defects in Products must be reported no later than 48 hours after receipt of the Products. Concealed defects must be reported immediately after discovery. Odd Universe e.U. will have no obligation to remedy a defect if the Customer fails to notify within the appropriate timeframe.
In the event of a defect, Odd Universe e.U. will, at its sole discretion, either remedy the defect or replace the Product as soon as practically possible after receiving notification. If it is not possible to remedy the defect or exchange the Product, Odd Universe e.U. will reimburse the purchase price of the Product, reasonably adjusted for any wear and tear. These remedies are exclusive, and Odd Universe e.U. is not liable for any remedial or repair work carried out by the Customer or a third party under the Customer’s instructions.
Concluding Condition
In accordance with EU Consumer Protection Laws, all purchases made through the Web Shop, email, or telephone by Customers who are considered consumers (as defined by EU law) are subject to the right of withdrawal. A consumer has the right to cancel an Order and return purchased Products within 14 days from the receipt of the Product, without providing any reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify Odd Universe e.U. (using any of the addresses stated in the introductory section) of their decision to withdraw from the contract. Odd Universe e.U. will then provide the Customer with a return address. The Customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs for the return.
The Product must be in substantially unaltered condition, and the right of withdrawal does not apply to Products that have been uniquely designed or customized for the consumer.
Odd Universe e.U. will refund all payments made for canceled Orders and returned Products, minus a 15% handling and administrative fee, as soon as possible after the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, and no later than 14 days from receiving the returned Product.

Intellectual Property Rights
The purchase of Products does not transfer ownership or grant a license to use any intellectual property rights associated with the Products, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and patent rights. All intellectual property rights related to the Products remain the exclusive property of Odd Universe e.U. or its licensors.
Complaints
All complaints and claims regarding a Product must be submitted to Odd Universe e.U. via the claims form available on the website.
Odd Universe e.U. will aim to respond to all claims within 72 hours. The Customer is required to provide photographic evidence of both the packaging and the Product stamp when submitting the claim. The Customer must also retain all packaging and Product materials until the claim is resolved.
If the claim is accepted, Odd Universe e.U. will either place an order for a replacement Product or parts (e.g., frames or modules on sofas), repair the defect, or issue a credit note. Please note that replacement Products can only be delivered to the same address as the original order. Odd Universe e.U. is not liable for any additional delivery, mounting costs, or third-party fees related to the replacement. The Customer will be instructed whether to return or dispose of the defective Product.
If the claim is rejected, Odd Universe e.U.'s Customer Service team will contact the Customer to provide a detailed explanation.
Limitation of Liability
Odd Universe e.U. shall not be liable for any loss, damages, claims, or costs of any kind, including but not limited to consequential or indirect damages or costs, arising from the use of the Products.
Resale of the Product
The Customer is not permitted to sell any Products to resellers without obtaining prior written consent from Odd Universe e.U. Additionally, the Customer may not resell the Product at a price higher than the retail price listed on the Web Shop.
Copyright and Rights of Use
The content provided by Odd Universe e.U. is protected by laws governing databases, copyright, and trademarks. This content may not be copied, disseminated, or used in any way without prior agreement from the respective proprietors. This restriction also applies to any copies made using automated mechanisms like robots or crawlers. Unauthorized use or modification of the services for purposes other than their intended use is prohibited. In particular, copying or uploading content, offers, directories, databases, etc., for commercial purposes is prohibited and may result in criminal or civil legal actions.
Force Majeure
Odd Universe e.U. is relieved from its delivery commitments and any other obligations to the Customer in the event of force majeure, such as breakdowns, strikes, pandemics, or other disruptive events beyond the control of Odd Universe e.U. or its suppliers. This release applies for the duration of the disruptive event and its consequences.
Miscellaneous
All costs related to contacting Odd Universe e.U. for Orders or other purposes—whether through the Web Shop, phone, email, regular mail, or other means—shall be borne by the Customer.
The Customer uses the Web Shop at their own risk. Odd Universe e.U. is not liable for any damage caused to the Customer’s computer hardware, software, or other equipment due to viruses, worms, or similar issues contracted from the Web Shop.
Governing Law
Austrian law shall exclusively govern these terms and conditions, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be settled in an Austrian court of general jurisdiction.
